Description: A view of 12-15 Pierrepont Street (west side) with the entrance to Pierrepont Place marked by the pair of Tuscan columns supporting the building above. between Nos. 12 and 13. The left hand column carries a sign indicating 'Manvers Hall.' Peacock's Newsagents at No. 14 has an array of cigarette machines affixed to the railings. 2 young boys and a man with a pram stand on the pavement. A weighing machine can be seen behind them. A window cleaner is working on Peacock's main shop window and a second ladder leans against the wall next to the Broadmead Wireless Company (Bath) Ltd. shopfront at No. 15. There are two magazine carousels standing on the slightly raised pavement in front of the shops. Note in black ink: at bottom left:'14, Pierrepont Street.'At top right:'17.'
