Description
A view from Grand Parade of the coffer dam structure, pontoons providing a base for constructing the walkway from Argyle Street down to the level of the new public area to be constructed as part of the weir sluicegate. A crane and generators and other pumping equipment is seen in the foreground, while the crane and site huts are seen on the opposite bank. The original storehouse operated by A. Wills and Sons, Builders is seen beyond the site accommodation alongside the road from Grove Street. Sham castle can seen on the skyline to the right, above the Bathwick Hill terraces.
