A view from the riverbank south of Pulteney Bridge before the replacement weir was built. There is shrubbery on the nearside bank and trees further towards the weir. The Empire Hotel and Grand Parade colonnade is in the shade to the left. The dome of the Victoria Art Gallery and the spire of St Michaels Church dominate the skyline. B/W
