Description
A view from the southwest corner of Pulteney Bridge, looking southwards towards the completed weir, the new weir island and the sluicegate. Beyond the towpath is the rear of the Rugby ground stand and the bulk of the recently-constructed Leisure Centre. The terraces of Darlington Place and Upper Bathwick Hill are seen beyond the isolated buildings of Pulteney Road. Bathwick Fields, the National Trust land, is seen above the roof of the Leisure Centre. Four boys are standing on the lower tier of the weir. B/W
