Description
A view of Pulteney Mews, from the corner of William Street looking northeast towards the backs of Nos 17-13 Edward Street. The street and ground floors of Nos. 14 and 13 are occupied by the business premises of John Howard and Sons, Builders. The majority of the mews buildings in the centre of the view are still working garages, later to be converted into dwellings. A lone female pedestrian walks away down the centre of the road. Various cars and other vehicles are parked on both sides. The boundary walls of Nos 63-65 Great Pulteney Street are of rubble stonework. Reverse: A stampin blue ink:'A.G. Bolwell, 8 George St. Bath.'
