Description
A view of the inner wall construction after removal of facing ashlar stonework. A lead chute discharge to a cast iron rainwater hopper head is seen on the left, taking water off the slated roof slope. String stonework is seen at the bottom of the photograph. On the reverse: a note in pencil- 'Masonic Hall, Old Orchard Street. Rubble wall just below roof level after removal of out of vertical parapet facing. Centre of façade. Jan 1973'. B/W
