Description
A photograph showing a busy shopping scene of the narrow lane of Northumberland Place, looking eastwards from Union Street, just above the intersection with Union Passage, marked by a lamppost sitting in a flower bed. On the right hand corner of Union Passage/Northumberland Place is Beau Nash House while there are many shop and cafe signs, as well as shop fascias advertising the various premises, on the left: Richards leather goods; Eileen's Seed Shop; Regency Cleaners, Darling card centre; Coeur de Lion pub sign in the distance (Bath's smallest public house).At bottom left corner is a sticker with the title'Northumberland Passage' writtn in black ink.
