Description: Photograph of a view of Milsom Street from the junction at the top with George Street, There is a banner advertising Bath Carnival, Saturday 9th July between the National Westminster and Lloyds Bank on the other side of the road. In the distance are the trees of Beechen Cliff and the slopes down to the river. At the bottom of Milsom Street is the end of a row of shops separating Burton Street on the left from Bond Street on the right. The Royal Mineral Water Hospital terminates the foreground view. B/W
