Description: A view from the first floor level of 2 Manvers Street looking south-east twards the railway station- seen at the right hand side. The Manvers Street Baptist Church and Church Hall occupy the centre ground with an orchard and industrial storage building on the site of the future Police Station. A car park is on the left fronting South Parade. Two scooterists and a passing pedestrian are in the centre of the photograph. The terraces adjacent to Widcombe Hill appear over the buildings on the left hand side. On the reverse: a pencil note-' pre-1962 (construction of Police HQ) c. 1950s'. B/W
