Description: Photograph shows a view of the Arkana Factory from the north side of the River Avon. The river is in the foreground and the southern bank. The car park for the factory is in front of the main block of the works with the rooftops of terraced housing on the south side of the Lower Bristol Road showing above. A label is stuck on the bottom of the photograph reading: 'Arkana factory- an example of an industrial site with adequate servicing and car parking arrangements and buildings which are adaptable to most forms of industrial processing where there are unlikely to be pressures for re-development'. On the reverse: a pencil note- 6 in a circle. Also repeating the note on the front. B/W
