Description
A view looking northeast along New Street West towards Kingsmead Square on the right, Kingsmead Street ahead on the left and the corner of Westgate Street and Upper Westgate Buildings (Sawclose). The shops on the left belong to Collins, butchers at No 3 New Street West, at No 2 is the Kingsmead Hardware Arcade and at No 1 is Walshaw and Sons, dairy. Cars are parked on the left include a Lotus Elan, a Morris van and a Ford Anglia. The broad frontage of the County Wine Vaults with its hooded awnings deployed is central in the view below the spreading canopy of the plane tree.
