Description
A view of the frontage of St Andrews Church (1961-64, Hugh Roberts), near to the junction of Julian Road and St James's Street leading into St James's Square.A simple design built of a mixture of dressed and rubble stone reusing rubble from the old St Andrew's Church, bombed in 1942. Above the church roof are the backs of St james's Square with terraces climbing the hill. Reverse: Notes in pencil 'Andrews' and '14'. B&W
