Description: A view looking north across the Recreation Ground with a partial view of the Rugby Stand to the left towards Johnstone Street. The rubblestone gable end of the 5-storeyed No 9 Johnstone Street, the western side, is on the left, while on the right is the eastern terrace of nos 1-8 Johnstone Street. In the distance on the right are the backs of 10 - 14 Great Pulteney Street. A note in black felt pen with arrows' points to the chimneys on the end house, No 8 stating '8 Johnstone Street 2 stacks to be rebuilt.' Reverse: Note in blue ink ' Laura Place, Bath. 8 Johnstone Street.' 'June 1974.' B&W
