Description
View looking westwards along the line of the former Bath/Gloucester railway. In the distance can be seen the bridge carrying Osborne Road to its junction with Newbridge road. On the left is industrial land with tall fencing strung between concrete posts. On the left beyond the industrial units are the roofs of the terrace on Avondale Road. Beyond the Osborne Road bridge are the buildings of Weston Maltings. On the bottom of the photo is an attached strip with a typed note: "WHEN THE TRAFFIC PLAN PROPOSALS ARE RESOLVED, IT WILL BE POSSIBLE TO EXPLOIT THE DEVELOPMENT POTENTIAL OF DISUSED RAILWAY LAND IN SOME CASES WITH ADJACENT AREAS". On the reverse a note in pencil: "When the traffic plan proposals are resolved it will be poss ble to exploit the development potential of discused railway land in some cases with adjacent areas". and the letter "c".
