Description
View looking north across the rear gardens of Nos 35 and 36 Inverness Road and across Lower Bristol Road and the river. On the right is No 23 Vernon Terrace, the end house of the terrace on Lower Bristol Road. Centrally the modern fully glazed façade of an industrial building, currently Horstman, situated on the north side of the river, can be seen. Beyond that and very faint is the spire of Locksbrook Cemetery chapel backed by the hills of Lansdown. On the bottom of the photo is an attached strip with a typed note: INVERNESS CLOSE - ILLUSTRATING HOW LAND HAS BEEN RESERVED IN A NEW DEVELOPMENT FOR THE TRAFFIC PLAN PROPOSALS". On the reverse in pencil a "5" circled. B&W
