Description
A view looking southeast along the south side of the High Street towards Crown Hill and a building site at the end of Crown Hill at its junction with the High Street.The shop front on the right at No 8, premises of D.W. Jenkins, shopkeeper and Post Office displays a projecting illuminated sign below the fascia 'Free Off Licence "Take Courage"'. On the left is the high rubblestone boundary wall with a gap (unseen but the site of a commemorative fountain.) B&W
