Description
A photograph of the south (front) elevation of Weston House. A three storey house with a canopied stone entrance, Ionic columns on pedestals with a double delicate-framed pair of entrance doors. The entrance is flanked on either side by pairs of french doors.Maintaining the rhythm of openings, the first floor has a range of five 6/6 sash windows with stone architraves and detached drip moulds above. The top floor has three windows placed symmetrically above the five windows below. To the right of the right hand window is a large square of smooth render repair. Virginia Creeper grows from between the ground floor openings and has spread over the canopy and upwards to the upper floor. The stippled rendering shows much sign of degradation probably caused by the planting. Reverse: Pencil note '4'. B&W
