Description
A view looking east towards Lansdown Road from the corner of Portland Place and Mount Pleasant. A column with a balled top marks the sharp corner of the road going down to Lampards Buildings (now demolished.) On the left, at No 3 Mount Pleasant, is the Lansdown Newsagency run by G. Butera. The buildings on the left are Nos 9,8,and 7 on Lansdown Road. The shadowy bulk of houses undergoing demolition are on the south side of Lansdown Road. There is a white, circular sticker with 19 in black ink on the top right corner. Reverse: Note in blue ink 'Mount Pleasant, High Street. Lansdown. Note in black biro 'Bath'. Note in pencil '1965'.
