Description
A view southside of Nos 54- 61 Great Pulteney Steet from the corner of Sunderland Street, ( 53 and 54 is St Monicas Hotel) while the majority of the terrace is occupied by the Cleveland Private Hotel. In the centre at No. 59 is a 5-bay pediment bearing the Duke of Cleveland's arms in the tympanum (area enclosed by the arch of a pediment.) The terrace has yet to be cleaned and restored. Reverse: Black ink note: Pulteney Street. BATH.' Bottom right an architect's stamp ' H.E.Stutchbury, City Architect and Planning Officer, 7 North Parade Buildings, Bath B/W
