Description: A view from Grand Parade looking east over the river and towpath towards the north end of the Recreation Ground. Bath Rugby Clubhouse is on the left with a Stand beyond. St. Mary's Church tower is central in the view with the large villas along Pulteney road on eith side. A proposed TV aerial has been drawn in black ink at the top of the wood on Bathampton Down. A paper note has been stuck on the bottom of the photo carrying the partial title "View from Grand Para...". B&W
