Description: View west from the north side of Edgar Buildings, adjacent to the raised pavement, looking towards Gay Street. The south side of George Street in the view are numbered 5-7, a modest three-storey terrace. No. 7 has a projecting sign for W H Morley & Son Ltd., ironmongers while no. 8 advertises in a similar way with a sign for Mills & Mills, Chemists. Nos. 8-12 and the corner of Gay Street is a four-storey plus attic terrace (John Wood the Elder). B&W
