Description: View from the end of Chaucer Road of the topograph along the path at the south edge of Beechen Cliff leading down from Alexandra Park. 2 children, a boy and a girl stand in front of a rubblestone wall looking at the topograph . The view beyond show the town centre and the hills beyond. Reading from the right there is the tower of St John's Roman Catholic Church, the tower of St James' church, Bath Abbey and St Michael's church tower and Camden Crescent and Lansdown Hill. On the reverse are photographer's stamps in green: "Copyright return to: Reece Winstone ARPS, 23 Hyland Grove, Henbury Hill, Bristol" and "Institute of British Photographers [signature - illegible] Secretary", a note in red crayon, circled "95.6 E", and 3 notes in pencil "9771", "P3" (circled) and "11" (circled) pp6&7 cut as shown bleed two sides".
