Description: View of the entrance to Royal Victoria Park from Queen's Parade Place with the left hand side of the Rivers Gate in view. The design includes Soanian piers gateposts and bronze lions designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield. Beyond into the park is the Kemble Vase designed by S. S. V. Pieroni. A lone male pedestrian stands looking at the vase. The left hand gatepost carries signs limiting speed in the park to 8mph and pointing out that motorcycles are not admitted. On the reverse a note in pencil: "9". B&W
