Description: View looking north east from a field at the east end of Bathampton, now developed as Downside Close. The two properties on the left foreground are Holcombe Lodge on the left and the double gable of Holcombe Cottage. On the right is the church of St Swithun's church on Church Street, Bathford. The distant hill is Bannerdown and the lane extending towards it is Fosse Lane. Left of St Swithun's church is the chimney belonging to Bathford Paper Mill located on the Bybrook tributary of the Avon. B&W
