Description
A view looking north west of the junction between Frome Road and Upper Bloomfield Road. The premises of H. Noad has a bay window onto Frome Road and the stallriser carries advertising for St Julien and St Bruno tobacco. On its roof there is a classic Hovis sign. The entrance to the shop has a stone built porch. The adjacent 3 storey attached building appears to be residential and carries a large hoarding on its first floor advertising Richmond cigarettes with the strapline "Strike it rich" 4/3 for a packet of 20". On the reverse: A note in blue biro- 'Aug 65', a note in black ink '55/9' and a note in pencil '9'. B&W
