Description
A view looking north west of the junction between Frome Road and Upper Bloomfield Road. The building on the corner with Upper Bloomfield Road is the premises of H. Noad, baker, grocer and confectioner. A projecting hanging sign also advertises an off licence. The gable wall carries a large hoarding advertising "Fine bitter: Ushers" and smaller advertising signs below with "Bristol" and "Kensitas" cigarettes, "Coca Cola" and "Woodbines" on the Frome Road façade. A Hillman saloon approaches the junction on the right. There is a lady with a poodle outside the the Noad's shop. On the reverse: A note in blue biro- 'Aug 65', a note in black ink '55/10' and a note in pencil '10'. B&W
