Description
A view looking south east from no. 50 on the north side of Frome Road. On the right is the entrance to Rush Hill United Reformed Church. At the junction with Upper Bloomfield Road is a block of 2 and 3 storey buildings. The gable of the 2 storey building is painted and carries a large sign advertising "Beehive Stores Take Courage Deliveries Daily - Wines & Spirits". On the left is the large 2 storey industrial building attached to a derelict church on the corner of Bloomfield Road. There is an inscription on the gable of the industrial building which reads "THE ODD DOWN CONGREGATIONAL INSTITUTE ESTABLISHED NOV 1882. ENLARGED NOV 1912". On the reverse: A note in blue biro- 'Aug 65' and a note in pencil '12P'. B&W
