Description
A view west down Shakespeare Avenue from Nos 19 (R) and 20 (L) looking towards its junction with the Wells Road and across western Bath towards High Barrow Hill on th skyline. The houses on either side of the road are typical villas of the 'Poets' Corner' developed during the Edwardian era. Typed paper label stuck on bottom of photograph reads '1.From Shakespeare Avenue showing sky line development at Bath.' On reverse; Stamped number in black ink and pencil '3 2751/23' and pencil notes 'X' and '1' in top left corner.. B&W
