Description: A view looking west down Ayr Street with the backs of Brook Road Terraces in the background. On the right is a row of 2-storey terraced houses with decorated doorways and consistent detailing over the windows. On the left is the corner with Stuart Place; the house has an elevation on both streets and beyond is the garden wall containing the small yards on the remainder of Ayr Street. Cars parked on both sides of the street include a Mark 1 Cortina and a Standard 10. Two young children hand in hand run along the pavement and are watched by a child on the other side of the street. There is a note on the front bottom edge in blue biro "AYR STREET" and a number "26" in black ink in the top right hand corner. B&W
