Description: A view of Chatham Row from the east bank of the river looking up towards Walcot Street. The back of Axfords Buildings, an extension of the Paragon, closes the view. As the terrace had already been scheduled for demolition, No 12 was deliberately ignited in 1967 by the local authority for fire testing. In this view, No 12 has all its windows removed and blocked up as do Nos 11 and 10. B&W
