Description: A view of the southern end of Charles Street from the space in front of Green Park Station looking north east towards its junction with Monmouth Street at the impending demolition of late Georgian terraces on the east side of Charles Street on its junction with James Street West. In the distance the site soon to be developed as the Telephone Exchange appears to be rubble strewn. A pile of dirty snow recently cleared from the street is in the foreground. A female on a bicycle passes by and male pedestrians are walking westwards on the left hand side. On the top right hand corner is a small circular white sticker with the number '6' in black ink. On the reverse a note in blue ink: 'Charles St.' and a note in pencil 'Feb 63'. B&W
