Description: A photograph of the advanced stage of construction of the Crown Building and Telephone Exchange on the south west corner of Charles Street and James Street West. The flats known as Rosewell Court are seen on the right. A man carrying a long pole walks past the corner of the Salvation Army Hall on the right. The road appears to be closed during the construction work and cars ar parked on the left. On the reverse: a note in black ink- '57/19', a note in blue biro 'July 65' and a pencil note '19'. B&W
