Description
A view of the Church of the Nazarene, originally the Temperance Hall built in 1847 with a pediment and Doric pilasters and a full entablature. The church is located at the junction of St Mark's Road and Claverton Street. The north wall carries an enormous hoarding advertising Maestro: "hat else could you call the leading car in its class?" (Austin Maestro, built at Longbridge). It also advertises the Church of the Nazarene under the first of 3 windows on this elevation. B&W
