Description: A view east from almost opposite the Skew Bridge. The row of buildings central in the view include a single storey Government Sales Stores. These have all now been demolished. On the left is a glimpse of the Bath Spa railway station structure and through the gap the fields of Bathwick Hill. Construction of the new road with a retaining wall on the right dominates the foreground. There is an inscription in black ink on the bottom left hand corner: "Claverton Street". On the reverse: notes in pencil '13' and 'Nov 65'; a note in black ink '106/13'. B&W
