A close upward view of the restored Doric frieze at No. 9 Circus showing the principal elements-the carved emblems between the triglyphs, mutules with 36 guttae under the cornice and carved rosettes between. Above the cornice is seen the Ionic style first floor with its frieze and modillions supporting the cornice. The Corinthian style second floor is blurred in the distance. On the top right corner is a circular white sticker with '11' in black ink. On the reverse: a note in black biro- '9 Circus, Bath' also crossing-out over a faded stamp 'H E Stutchbury, City Architect and Planning Officer, etc.' B&W
