A close-up of the ground floor Doric frieze, after restoration, showing the carved emblems between the triglyphs, the mutules with guttae supporting the cornice and embellishments between. On the reverse: a note in pencil-'13', and notes in blue ink-'Carved frieze and pilasters (Doric capitals, egg-and-tongue decoration), The Circus. The right hand edge has a strip of sellotape attached. B&W
