Description: A photograph of Nos. 20, 21, 22 and part of 23 Circus showing the range of external condition. Nos 20 and 23 are yet to be cleaned and restored; No. 22 is completely restored and No. 21 has been cleaned and scaffolding is still in place although stonework restoration appears complete. A very long wooden ladder spans from the pavement to window head level of the second floor.No. 20 in the foreground still has Edwardian-style external shutter boxes on its first floor windows. A boxer-type dog stands guard on the pavement outside No. 20. On the reverse: notes in pencil-'Proof' and 'A' and a note in blue ink-'Restoration Works. 21 & 22, The Circus, Bath'. B&W
