Description: A photograph of the full façade of No. 4, in the southern segment of the Circus near to the corner with Gay Street. The blackened and eroded stonework is seen in great contrast to the neighbouring houses, Nos. 3 and 5. A white Austin van is parked outside. On the reverse: notes in pencil- 'Circus Before' and 'Full Page, Halford, Plate 59' and a note in black felt tip 'Pl. 59, Full page no bleed'. Also cropping instructions- '4½' and '108%' and lines drawn down both edges. B&W
