Description: Front view of No 4, Rochfort House in Rochfort Place. The name 'Rochfort House' is engraved in the string course above the front door. Rochfort Place is a terrace of 4 late (1827) houses by Pinch the Elder. The terrace has distinctly larger scale first floor windows sitting above a rusticated ground floor base. The rustication of the remainder of the terrace is reduced to horizontal courses only on the other houses in the terrace. There is a single male pedestrian standing on the right looking at this house. On the reverse is a note in blue biro '36'. B&W
