Description: Photograph of the hotel premises 9 and 10 viewed from the south side of the street. There are 5 quadrant striped awnings on the ground floor windows, side window and the front entrance of the hotel. All 3 storeys of the main hotel building are visible while the rear part of the hotel (No 9) comprises a 2 storey section and a single storey extension at the rear. The 2 storey section also has a tall rubblestone chimney with a tall cypress tree behind it. To the right is No 11, a 3 storey property with mansard. On the reverse are notes in blue biro 'Avon Hotel, Bathwick Street, 27th November 1979'. B&W
