Description: Photograph of the front area railings viewed from the car park area to the north. The roof of the area has an asphalt finish which has cracked. The railing plinth wall conceals two floodlights designed to illuminate the front of the hotel. In the distance is the south side of Bathwick Street including a sign for the Barley Mow public house. On the reverse are notes in blue biro: 'Avon Hotel, Bathwick Street Floodlighting (2 of 4). 6 December 1979.' B&W
