Description
A view of a development site off south-west side of Bathwick Hill, indicated by a faded red line and applied Letraset letter 'N'. Nos. 1-5 Sion Place climb the hill beyond the site with general view of back gardens. The photograph is taken from a high level viewpoint on Darlington Place. In the foreground is a tall Bath stone boundary wall to the lane behind Darlington Place with a parked car, a Morris Minor convertible. On the reverse is a typed note: "The City Planning Officers and Architect 7. North Parade Buildings Bath. View of site behind the present bungalow St Patrick on Bathwick Hill for which the application has been made for the building of 24 flats. This site faces the houses of Darlington Place as indicated by the red line. Along this line over a considerable length of this garages are planned by the owner and it can be seen that it would be most desirable to retain the trees and hedges to camouflage them. Bath April 14th 1964. Enclosure to letter by the residents surrounding the proposed building site. Also a Letraset italic '2'. B&W
