Description: Photograph from the southern end of the former Ballance Street- most of the original houses have been demolished to make way for the present Balance Street flats development. The backs of the Burlington Street terraces are seen on the left with the end house on Portland Place beyond. The new flats development are plainly obvious on the right and beyond. Road and other external works are in progress. A number of cars and other construction vehicles occupy the foreground. B&W
