Description: A photograph of a tall single-storey industrial workshop trading in tyres, batteries and other motoring accessories. The building is covered in advertisements for these services. The street frontage to Brook Road is divided into four structural bays, all but one open, full-height openings up to fascia level. The flank wall is of faced blockwork up to approx. 4 metres with obscure glazing over to light the deep workshop area. on the left is a concrete post and chain link fenced compound. On the front of the photograph are notes and crossings-out, in red crayon, indicating Planning Officers preferences for visual improvement. On the reverse: a note in pencil- 'Sept 72', and notes in black biro- 'Suggested site meeting 23rd Oct 72' and 'City Architect & Planning Officer'. B&W
