Description: A view of the lower end of Broad Street from the corner of Green Street with, at no. 42 the Saracen's Head (c. 1700 but dated 1713) has two storeys with quoins and a doubled-gabled attic. Railings to the road indicate a lower level pavement. Various brackets at first floor level suspend a lantern and pub signage. The building abuts no. 41 on the left. A female pedestrian walks by towards Saracen Street while another figure stands in the pub doorway. B&W
