Description: A view of the frontages of Nos. 19 and 20 Beauford Square. No 19 is in a cleaner painted state and reveals much more of the architectural detail, particularly the Doric entablature with triglyph frieze and the parapet ramps at party wall and centre of the properties. The segmental pediments and brackets display much erosion. No 20 has a blanked window over the door and the ground floor windows have architraves and cornice moulding. No 20 has a soot covered first floor. The later Regency railings and overthrow to the lawn are seen on the left. On the reverse is a pencil note '19 & 20 Beaufort [sic] Square 13 April 70' and a photographer's stamp: 'PHOTOGRAPHED BY T.C. LEAMAN, 7 THE CORRIDOR, BATH, PHONE 3343'. B&W
