Description: View east from the corner of London Road and St Saviour's Way looking towards the terrace of Lambridge on the other side of Beaufort Place. A gas control station is seen on the left, no longer there, with a benchmark on the lower course of stonework. A truncated gas lamp column is on the edge of the pavement behind the kerb - this was removed sometime after 1994. A large road sign straddling the pavement directs traffic to either Chippenham on the A4, Stroud on the A46 and the M4 (South Wales). A Bristol KSW6B (in service 1950s and 60s) double decker bus waits at the Grosvenor Place bus stop. On the reverse a note in blue ink: 'Beaufort East lawn Bath' and in black ink (BEFORE) B and in pencil in the top right hand corner '34'. B&W
