Description: View of Beaufort East terrace viewed from the grassed area in front of Grosvenor Place looking towards the junction of St Saviour's Way with London Road. In the centre of the view is a gas control station beside St Saviour's Way and the truncated base of a former gas lamp column seen below the opposite kerb line. The raised pavement in front of Beaufort West is seen on the left. A cast iron bench on the south side of the London Road in seen in silhouette under the canopies of the horse chestnut trees. At this time the lawn in front of Beaufort East has been restored. B&W
