Description: View of Beaufort East Lawn looking west in a derelict state although the designed tree planting is obvious. Upturned benches are seen on the left and centre whilst the hedge to London Road is plainly overgrown. The Holm Oak on the left is actually in Grosvenor Place. The sinuous terrace of Grosvenor Place is seen on the left whilst the terrace of Beaufort West can be seen through the branches of the trees on the right. On the reverse is a note in blue ink: 'Beaufort East lawn Bath. (BEFORE) E and in pencil in the top right hand corner '34'. B&W
