Description: Photograph of the site eventually to be developed as Strahan House, at the corner of Avon Street with James Street West. Derelict former industrial buildings remain, amongst them the former printing works of H and R Ebdon. A large advertising hoarding commands the centre of the view The gable end of no. 5 Kingsmead Square is seen on the right. The recently constructed Rosewell Court (1961) flats are seen on the left in the distance. At the bottom of the photograph is a note in black ink: 'Avon Street'. On the reverse: a note in black ink- '106/14' and pencil notes- 'Nov 65' and '14'. B&W
